"My visit at the end of April was simply the most perfect vacation. One can easily stretch out all day and do nothing but enjoy the sights or you can do like me and attempt to leisurely roam the entire island. The raw beauty, the majestic views of the sea from every angle kept me gasping at every corner. I could not have imagined such a small place to have that many hidden treasures! From hiking up the Quill, strolling to museum and old churches, taking in the sights from Fort Oranje and Fort De Windt, to simply hanging out downtown after a fine dinner at The Barrel House, I had the experience of a lifetime. The laid-back lifestyle left nothing to be desired. Of particularly notice, the personal and attentive service from Tony at the Statia Lodge or Mr. Lindo at the tourism center beg for a return in the near future. I had to go back to the reality of work and life, but the memories will be forever with me. Until next time Statia. You rock!"
